What are you going to do?
As Shiftleader you are the point of contact and the driving force of our production hall. You ensure that the daily operation runs smoothly and efficiently. This means that you:
- Coordinate and distribute the work on the floor, so that production runs according to planning and quality requirements;
- Lead captains, production employees and drivers and help them get the best out of themselves;
- Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and intervene directly when necessary;
- Monitor and comply with safety, hygiene and environmental regulations;
- Recognize malfunctions and solve minor technical problems yourself – or escalate to technical service in time;
- Actively think along about process improvements and inspire the team to continuously grow;
- Regularly work in the process yourself when necessary.
In short: you keep overview, create calm on the work floor and take action when the situation requires it.
What do we expect from you?
You are a natural leader: involved, approachable and clear. You enjoy directing people, but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves together. Furthermore:
- You have MBO level and about 5 years of experience in a production environment;
- You can switch well, set priorities and stay calm when things get busy;
- You have technical insight and can solve minor malfunctions independently;
- You speak good Dutch and English;
- You know the Lean philosophy or are willing to immerse yourself in it;
- You are responsible, flexible and result-oriented.

- A one-year contract of 40 hours per week, with prospects of permanent employment;
- An attractive salary between €3,500 and €4,200 per month (based on 40 hours);
- Work in day shifts;
- A fixed year-end bonus of 5.33%;
- 25 vacation days per year (based on 40 hours) and 8.33% holiday pay;
- A solid pension scheme in which we pay 2/3 of the premium.
